  1. I really enjoyed seeing your photographs on “Transactions with Beauty.” When out in nature, I also experience moments of serendipity, often when I need them most. Looking forward to reading your blog!

  2. I could say something exquisite, elegant, splendid, and lots of other things besides….but as I can find beauty even in decay, I think I would say above all that the thing must possess appeal …. And of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which means different things to different people!

  3. Yes, beautiful. 😊
Beauty is very much in the eyes of the beholder, especially when the eyes have had a little help from the heart. 😊

  4. Beauty is what moves your heart, your soul and when I see your pics, I see beauty. I know you see it very well. thanks for sharing it with us. It is very appreciated.

  5. I like your work Susan, i have followed you for a time, love the light and tones in your pictures. For me Photography is relaxation and happines

  6. I don’t really have a fixed definition for beauty, but the photo at the top of this post is certainly a wonderful illustration of it. I also enjoyed the post on Transactions with Beauty.

  7. That’s a great question. My younger self had huge opinions about beauty and symmetry and all that jazz. But from this end of life, I find that my take on beauty has evolved. But it’s hard to define. Perhaps beauty is whatever captures my eye and draws it back for a second or third look. Like that image of the bright red maple leaves in the glass bottle…

  8. Your definition of beauty was perfect – something that touches one’s soul – and your photos always do that.

  9. Maroon flower and brown background makes nice combination. Glasses look interesting in Photography. There is beauty of sunlight reflected on table edge. Overall nice picture.
