to rest, to lean, to dream

“She did not want to move, or to speak. She wanted to rest, to lean, to dream. She felt very tired.”

~ Virginia Woolf, “The Years”

I wish you all a restful and peaceful weekend

  1. Still hanging on? A favorite author from many, many years ago, but I don’t think I read “The Years”. I might have to remedy that.

  2. A dreamy background in soft autumn colours to go with your quotation. Such a lovely leaf in natural surroundings.

  3. It’s that time of year, isn’t it! Beautifully expressed by the quote and your photo goes perfectly – it shows the resting and leaning, but there in the background is the dreaming. Which I know you’ll still manage to do!
