the tear catcher

the tear catcher

“No truth can cure the sorrow we feel from losing a loved one. No truth, no sincerity, no strength, no kindness can cure that sorrow. All we can do is see it through to the end and learn something from it, but what we learn will be no help in facing the next sorrow that comes to us without warning.”

~Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

  1. Those words are so true…live each day in joy so that when the sad times come you’ll remember that joy is waiting somewhere around the corner..

  2. It does look like it’s reaching out to grab those tears. I love how worlds can be seen within photos like this.

  3. A perfect image to go with these thoughts, Susan. I am so saddened by the horrible violence in our world, but the turnout of a million or more people to rally for freedom and brotherhood lifted my spirits.

    • It was good to see all those people coming together in Paris…would have been even better if our leaders had shown up.

  4. You have a true talent – you gain and give inspiration by way of your eyes.

I enjoy the detail of this!
