I wonder whether the Christmas feeling has anything to do with the sixth sense. Perhaps we’re a little more the angels at Christmas than we are during the rest of the year. And Christmas is about all the other senses. I can smell Christmas, I can taste Christmas, and I can see and hear it.”

  1. I haven’t been around in a while but I so love your images. These put me in the Christmas spirit more than I have been. Where is that toy shop?

    • Hi Lisa, I have been busy too and have much catching up to do here on WordPress. That little toy shop is in downtown Concord. On Sunday, they closed the main street to traffic and had that little train running for the kids and the shoppers. The local restaurants had tables outside serving free coffee, hot chocolate, chowders and desserts. It was a fun time! Don’t know if you’ve spent anytime there but it is a very charming area, no matter what time of year!

  2. so warm and festive! and those snow shoes look like mine!
Love the snow in the tree in the ornament shot.

  3. Susan, what a fantastic selection of seasonal images — together they really capture the warmth, light and spirit of the season. I have always wanted to go to Concord — mainly in the warmer weather — but it sure looks beautiful in winter too! Such a great quote too — that’s a new one to me!

  4. Oh I love all the images here…makes me feel like I just took that walk with you and I, to, can feel and touch and smell Christmas…this post really brings it alive…you are a gifted photographer Susan…I love each visit that I have with you…
