“…the care of the earth is our most ancient and most worthy and, after all, our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it, and to foster its renewal, is our only legitimate hope.”
~ Wendell Berry
Happy Earth Day!
Truly beautiful !!
I hope you have opportunity to enjoy a peaceful corner of the earth today. The first photo is really beautiful, Susan. I walked right in and sat down for a spell. 🙂
Great quote for today!
Just beautiful and what a joy to sit on that bench surrounded by spring colours and perfumes!
Your photography is so dreamy. I’m a big fan!
Simply beautiful! Happy Earth Day!
Delightful and delicate beauty! I do love your images Susan 🙂
The nature’s awakening to spring is amazing. Great shots!
Breathtaking beauty, Susan.
Too beautiful, Wow!! Happy Earth Day!
That second photo is stunning… Happy Earth Day!
Gorgeous images Susan! The light…oh such dreamy light! XO
excellent tribute to earth day. have you considered Earth Day cards? your work is beautiful
Beautiful captures! happy Earth day 🙂
I especially liked the first photo, Susan. It reminded me of those who’ve passed. I see many many benches of this type with small plaques “in memory of …” and I see them everywhere — children’s playgrounds, botanical gardens. It’s a good reminder to us all to appreciate & nurture what’s been given us. Most especially, our Earth.
Wonderful pictures of spring blooming, especially the one with the daffodils and the bench. Looks like a perfect place to have a little rest! 🙂
Love that first image, especially Susan 🙂
Lovely photos, the second is almost ethereal, and I love the Wendell Berry quote you have chosen. He is a national treasure.
Such vibrant color in these.
Soooo beautiful Susan!! The second one takes my breath away!
Ohhh, that’s what Jaxson says when he really loves something…so that’s what I’m saying for these photo’s…my most favorite colors in that bottom photo.
