  1. Looks like you had a super weekend, some great pictures too. I love the first one, the path really leads your eye into the photo and the close up ones are amazing, what lens do you use? πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Katie. Most of these were taken with a 55-300mm telephoto, with the exception of the pussy willow and the gazebo photo..for those two I was playing with a little 50mm lens.

  2. All wonderful images as usual, but 0672 was amazing. I’ve often tried for a shot like that, but mine seem to come out pretty crappy. πŸ˜‰

  3. Wow, all of these are quite beautiful! Wow! That’s central Mass???!!!! I especially like the scruffy tree in the golden landscape, and the ground-level weeds or whatever they are.

  4. What a wonderful hike in beautiful landscape! Walking is one of life’s most rewarding yet simplest of pleasures.

  5. After driving north from subtropical to very early spring this weekend, it was a joy to see your photos of early spring. You captured the beauty so very well.

  6. Looks like you had a great time outdoors with friends. Beautiful pics. I especially love the shot with the bright blue stream and the bird. (of course) Also the John Muir quote, I drive by Muir High School in Pasadena all the time! πŸ™‚ So glad you had some beautiful weather so you could enjoy the outdoors.

    • No, I used my 50mm lens for these shots. But thanks for reminding me, I need to start playing more with that lensbaby!

  7. Such joyful photos…I love the fourth (branches), and the moss, the downy woodpecker, and the pussy willow. Great variety!
