Enjoy your weekend, friends!
Beautifully executed…simple, clean lines and colours

I smile so big as I get to view this! Those tiny little bird feet! So adorable.
I seem to imagine expletives (in bird cheeps, of course) having to do with how much and how long that snow is hanging around! 🙂
I imagined the same, Gunta! When I uploaded this, I died laughing…there’s just something about the expression on his little face!
oh my he looks like he is posing just for us! beautiful capture.
Cathy, I love your new site..I just have to try and remember my old tumblr password so I can “like” your posts.
Absolutely beautiful 🙂 I love the light behind the bird!
I just love that little bird. Your photograph is a perfect capture Susan and the quote by Ansel, whose birthday was this week, is perfect!
Thanks Robyn..I didn’t know it was his birthday this week..happy birthday, Ansel!
in my humble opinion – this is an absolutely Perfect Picture
That little bird’s expression is priceless – and those dainty legs and feet in the cold, cold snow! His feathers are all puffed up to keep warm. Do you feed your birds during the snowy months?
Have a lovely weekend!
Oh yes and I feed them well…we go through many bags of seed per week!
Put a little helmet on his head and he’s ready for the downhill at the Olympics!
I love the way the bird’s colouring echoes the composition of the tones in the image. Well seen! Wishing you a good weekend too!
HAHAHA Great expression! So many different words come to my mind lol
Enjoy your week-end too 🙂
😀 Excellent capture, Susan! Gold meal good!!
this is so wonderful, really gorgeous
Lovely picture! I like the play of colours (white, grey) in the bird’s coat, its little feet and the crisp ice.
What a little cutie!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
At least the weather was much, much nicer! 🙂
This is wonderful! The bird is so still. I can never get them to sit long enough!
What a terrific photo. I love the way the snow lets you see how delicate and tiny the bird’s feet are.
I love this one! That bird is getting through this winter with lots of personality.
