Licht Years

where are you going, where have you been?

on chocolate and inspiration

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.

~ Charles M. Schulz

nothing like hot chocolate on an icy, snowy day…
sitting at my kitchen table, pondering the weekend
I attended an open studios event
a group of local artists rent space in an old factory building not far from my home
every year they hold an open house and I go to get some inspiration…and this year I came home with lots of it!
I originally planned to go pop in for a quick visit but ended up spending the entire afternoon
making some new friendships with some very interesting people.
a most productive Sunday!

Indeed, there is nothing quite like chocolate (hot or otherwise!), but it’s those little gingerbread people that have my attention.
    Soooooooo love gingerbread cookies!

Your Sunday sounds like it was a fantastic time!

I would love to spend an afternoon like that too. Nothing like other artists in the flesh to inspire a person. And speaking of inspiring, that hot chocolate makes me want one right now, even though it’s in the eighties. But I love hot chocolate and whipped cream with cookies. And such a cute mug.
