where are you going, where have you been?

heading home

“Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.”

~ Mary Jean Irion

I apologize for not posting or visiting here much this week, life got busy all of a sudden. I had a couple photo shoots this week and while I certainly appreciate the work, it kind of came at a bad time as I’m also getting ready to head to Vermont for a few days. I hope to be back on track next week and will try to catch up on everything that I’ve missed here. So until then, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend ahead! See you soon!

Thanks Gunta! Been there and back safely! Quick trip this time but heading back again at the end of the month. Have just a few photos to share hopefully over the next few days.

I love the light in this photo and love the quote too. I hope you have a fun, relaxing time in Vermont and will look forward to seeing those photos. Wishing you many normal days this summer! 🙂

Thank you Sheila! It was great being in Vermont but kind of wished I had headed to the Cape instead…so hot and humid! We just went up for a couple days to drop my son off at a music program in Burlington. Hope to spend some more time there at the end of the month. Anyway, I hope that you are enjoying some normal days too this summer! Anxious to hear about your book!

Come on down! It’s been pretty humid here too but at least you can jump in the ocean (still haven’t gotten around to doing that yet this summer)!

A cold dip in the ocean would be perfect right now! Hoping to get to the Cape sometime in August. Summer is not summer without a Cape visit!
