Help us to be ever faithful gardeners of the spirit, who know that without darkness nothing comes to birth, and without light nothing flowers.

Thank you very much.
Utterly beautiful low-key photographs. The shadow on the first one is inspired. (and this coming from someone who ordinarily doesn’t care for b&w shots.)
Thanks so much Gunta. I will have to work on winning you over to “the dark side”!
If anyone can do it, it might just be you.
I’ll give it a try although I tend not to take as many black and whites once summer comes. (:
That actually suits me just fine. I’ve never quite understood this need so many feel to turn a world full of color into b&w… but it worked in this specific application.
Sometimes the tones of a black and white just suits the mood and emotion of an image…but that’s just my opinion!
absolutely love this, you have made the flower float which supports the title – great – Tweeted
Thanks so much Scott. And thanks also for the tweet!
Great shots! The quote goes well with them 🙂

Susan, these are so very beautiful, and I love the quote you chose to go with them.
Thanks Lisa, one of my favorite authors!
So beautiful. I love how the flower looks like it’s floating and the quote is just perfect.
