“I frequently tramped eight or ten miles through the deepest snow to keep an appointment with a beech-tree, or a yellow birch, or an old acquaintance among the pines.”

  1. They are so beautiful – aren’t they? – in contrast to the white snow. I’m sad that by the end of today – it’ll be all messy and mushy!!

  2. Very nice Susan. I like the composition of the first one and the lighting in the last one! Have a wonderful week! Robyn

  3. Hi Soonie. I’ve just nominated you for the Reality Blog Award. Please feel free to accept or decline as I know these things take time that we can’t all spare. Either way, I enjoy your blog and wanted to share it with a few others too. Thanks.

    • Jackie, thank you so much, this is really an honor! Unfortunately, I am unable to accept this as I really don’t have the time necessary right now. I can’t thank you enough for visiting me here and for your kind comments. You are very much appreciated!

  4. So much (wonderful to me) snow! I love the light in the last two, so pretty. I really think there is nothing prettier than a snowy sunset.

    • It was fun to wade through all that snow but some of my favorite spots (like the lake) were impossible to get to – no place to park my car. ):
