  1. dried hydrangeas blooms are so beautiful just about anytime of year, don’t you think? love how you’ve captured them here with the muted background and all that negative space. really beautiful!

    • I totally agree, I just love Hydrangea and I probably have over a hundred photos of them! They are interesting all year round. Thank you Kelly!

  2. But hydrangea are lovely ANY time of the years – blooming blue, or drying pinkish brown. I think that’s what this photo is – whatever, I love love the sense of color, the display right of center, the sweetness of the scene, yet with a sense of nostalgia and sadness too. Lovely.

    • Thanks! There were some shadows on the wall and when I added some saturation during the editing process it created this effect.

  3. Hahah – yes but luckily there’s still beauty to be found. The wall in this one is really striking. It reminds me of rippling beach sand.
