some old photos from the past
I make mistakes
I break all the rules
I have to remind myself that
it’s a process
as I continue this practice

and I love it all
because it’s one thing
that I can call
my own.

  1. Susan, I have scrolled up and down, and up and down, and…
What an amazing photographer you are!
    These are absolutely breathtaking.
    Happy Sunday to you!
    xo.

    • Thank you so much Sheila, I guess I will not feel so bad about breaking those rules…live and learn, right?

  2. stunning parade of images. I think it’s important to break rules — it’s almost a must don’t you think? All the very best to you as 2013 unfolds — may it bring you continued inspiration, creation, and explorations.

    • Yes, I agree Diane. I think I learn best by doing…and making many mistakes! Thanks as always for your nice comments here!

  3. I never regret stopping by, you have amazing pictures compiled here!
If I had to choose favourites, I’d take the monochromes, the ‘iron and stone’ image, the ‘speckled’ and the last one.
But truly, all are awesome. 🙂

  4. You have such talent, an amazing eye and patience to capture some of the most amazing things. Things a lot of people don’t even notice, you more than notice them, you make them your art. These remind me of those emails that go around filled with great photo’s the kind I just can lose myself in. So good. So very good.

    • I can’t tell you how much your kind comments mean to me! You make my day! Thank you so very much! Next time I need to find some inspiration, I’m going to come back here and re-read this your words!
